Since its establishment in 1995, The Ritz-Carlton Seoul has been pivotal in introducing groundbreaking service concepts to the South Korean hospitality landscape. - Manage pipe safety and prolong their lifespan by eliminating rust, scale, and slime from copper pipes in guest rooms and stainless-steel pipes in business areas.
- Installing a Zinc Ionizer over four phases cost 110 million won, providing a cost-effective solution, roughly equivalent to 1/20 of the expense of pipe replacement.

Before installation, significant scale and slime buildup were present in the pipes. However, after approximately 6 months, there was a notable reduction in scale and slime, with a visible improvement in removing the blue rust that had formed previously.
By the 11-month mark, the scale and blue rust were eliminated from the piping. Fast forward to 27 months after installation, and it’s evident that the original copper pipes have been fully restored to their pre-installation condition.
